Inventory software for online and Facebook sellers in Bangladesh
Stock is reserved when an order is placed and returned when a parcel comes back and is checked in. Multi-warehouse tracking covers a home stockroom and a rented godown at the same time.
An online seller's stock has to be honest in a way a shop's does not. A customer standing in front of an empty shelf understands; a customer who paid and then waits three days for a message saying the item is unavailable does not come back.
The awkward case is the seller who also has a physical counter, because the same units are being promised in two places at once. Reservation at checkout and one stock record across both channels is the only arrangement that survives a busy week.
What goes wrong for online sellers
Everyday problems in this trade, from the industry guide.
-
Orders scattered across Messenger and Sheets
Every order is copied from a chat into a spreadsheet by hand. Addresses are wrong, phone numbers are mistyped, and when two people update the sheet at once, an order is quietly lost.
-
COD statements never reconcile
The courier pays out in lumps days after delivery. Matching each parcel to a payout, less charges and returns, takes an evening a week and the difference is usually written off as a mystery.
-
Returned parcels eat the margin
Customers refuse delivery or do not answer the phone. Return parcels come back weeks later, are not counted back into stock, and the delivery charge has been paid twice for nothing.
-
Fake and duplicate orders
Without an SMS or call confirmation, a share of orders are never real. They are packed, shipped and returned, and the courier fee is lost each time along with the packing.

What you get
The parts of Inventory & Warehouses that matter most here.
-
Multi-warehouse stock summary
See quantity on hand and available per item per warehouse, with bins inside a warehouse for larger godowns. Warehouse access controls who can view or move stock at each location.
-
Backorder tracking
Record customer demand you cannot fill from stock as backorders and clear them as goods are received, so a promised item is not forgotten between the sale and the next delivery.
-
Adjustments and stock control
Post adjustments for damage, shrinkage or count differences with a reason, and set minimum and maximum levels per item. Low stock alerts can go out by SMS through the SMS module.
-
Auto replenishment rules
Define a reorder point and order quantity per item and warehouse. When stock falls to the reorder point the ERP suggests an order and can create the purchase requisition for the buyer to approve.
-
Batch and expiry
Receive stock in batches with manufacture and expiry dates, see expiring stock ahead of time and pick batches at sale. Expiry management flags what to return to the supplier or write off.
-
Stock aging
See how long each item has sat in each warehouse in aging buckets, so slow movers are discounted, returned or bundled before they tie up more cash than they are worth.
A working day for online sellers
The sequence this trade actually runs, from the industry guide.
-
Order arrives from page or website
Website orders land in the ERP automatically. Messenger orders are keyed in by staff with the customer's name, phone number and delivery address.
-
Confirm by SMS or call
An order placed SMS goes out, staff confirm doubtful orders by phone, and confirmed orders move to packing with stock reserved against them.
-
Pack and book the courier
Shipments are created against orders. Steadfast bookings go through its API; for Pathao, Paperfly or CarryBee the consignment number is entered by hand. The tracking reference is stored on the order.
-
Deliver and update the customer
Tracking status updates the order and a delivery SMS goes to the customer. Refused parcels are marked for return so they are expected back.
-
Reconcile COD and returns
Courier statements are uploaded and matched to delivered orders in courier payments, charges are recorded, and returned parcels are checked back into stock.
Questions
Answered plainly, including where the answer is no.
Can online and counter sales share one stock?
Yes. The storefront runs on the same catalogue and stock as the counter, with reservation at checkout so an online order and a walk in customer cannot both be sold the last unit.
What happens to orders for items that are out of stock?
They can be recorded as backorders against the order rather than cancelled, so the demand is visible when you reorder instead of disappearing into a message thread.
