Frequently asked questions
How do you price custom development?
After a discovery call or visit we write a scope document with screens, rules and acceptance criteria, then quote a fixed price in BDT and a timeline. You approve before we start. Changes after approval are quoted separately, so there are no surprises.
Do I own the custom code?
Work built specifically for you is licensed to you for unlimited use with your SORS ERP subscription or on-premise deployment. Where a feature is useful to all customers we may add it to the product, and we agree that with you in the scope.
How long does a typical custom project take?
A report or document format usually takes one to two weeks. A workflow or integration takes two to six weeks. A new module or bespoke system is scoped in phases of four to eight weeks each, with a working release at the end of every phase.
Can you integrate with software we already use?
Yes, as long as it exposes an API, a file export or a database we can read. Common requests are bank statements, courier APIs, marketplaces, SMS gateways, biometric devices and existing websites.
Will customisation break when SORS ERP updates?
Custom work is built as extensions on stable interfaces and covered by automated tests, so product updates ship without breaking it. Where an update touches a customised area, we test it on a staging copy of your system first.
Do you build ERPs from scratch?
Yes. When your workflow does not fit any product, we design and build a bespoke system on the same stack as SORS ERP, reusing proven modules such as accounting, users and permissions, so you get a custom system without paying for the basics twice.
