Where this matters most
SORS ERP is the back end for your online shop. Products, prices, stock, customers and orders live in one place, and the storefront reads them through a secure API. When a customer orders on your website, the order lands in the same system your counter staff and accountant use, so there is no re-typing and no second stock count to reconcile at night.
The storefront itself is a Nuxt site hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so product pages load fast on a 4G phone in Mirpur or Agrabad. You control the homepage sections, banners, header, footer and category menu from the ERP. Computer shops get a PC Builder and a Keyboard Builder that walk shoppers through components step by step and add the whole build to the cart.
Payment runs through SSLCommerz, which carries bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, cards and bank transfer, or through cash on delivery. Stock is held while the customer checks out, the order is billed, handed to Steadfast, and the customer gets an SMS at each step. A WooCommerce sync module and an SEO module are on the roadmap and switched off today.

What is included
- Headless storefront API
- Authentication, cart, wishlist, compare, checkout, orders, categories, brands, search, newsletter, notifications, loyalty, referral, product requests, pre-orders and reviews are all served from one documented API, so your storefront always shows the ERP's live price and stock.
- Website order management
- Website orders move through processing, billing, shipped and delivered tabs. Staff edit quantities, hold, cancel, refund or mark an order failed, print the order sheet, and export the list for the day's dispatch.
- SSLCommerz and COD payments
- Checkout offers cash on delivery and SSLCommerz online payment, which carries bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, cards and bank transfer. Payments are validated against SSLCommerz, IPN callbacks are verified, and refunds can be issued from the ERP.
- Stock reservation at checkout
- Items in a cart are held against available stock so two customers cannot buy the last unit. Holds expire automatically if the customer walks away, and billing deducts real inventory, including serial numbers for serialised items.
- PC Builder and Keyboard Builder
- Configurators for computer shops. You define the steps, mark which are required, and set the category filters behind each step. Shoppers pick a processor, board, RAM and the rest, then add the whole build to the cart in one go.
- Homepage builder
- Arrange homepage sections, hero banners, side banners, the header, the footer and the category menu from inside the ERP. Policy pages and product pages are managed the same way, so a flash sale banner goes live without a developer.
- EMI display on products
- Bank EMI plans from the Sales module show on product pages with per-bank tenures, so a customer comparing a laptop sees the monthly figure before they call. The same templates are used when the sale is invoiced.
- Pre-orders and product requests
- Take pre-orders for items that are not yet in stock, let customers request products you do not list, and let them subscribe to restock alerts for sold-out items. Abandoned carts are listed so staff can follow up by phone.
- Loyalty, referral and coupons
- Loyalty points, referral codes with a withdrawable balance, coupons and cart rewards apply at checkout, and the same customer record carries over to the counter. Customers see their points and orders in their account dashboard.
- Courier hand-off and SMS
- Ship an order and it is pushed to Steadfast with the consignment ID saved on the order. Delivery status is polled back, and SMS triggers fire when a web order is received, shipped and delivered.
In Bangladesh
Most online selling in Bangladesh still happens on Facebook pages and in Messenger, and most orders are paid in cash at the door. SORS ERP treats a website order and an F-commerce order the same way: staff key the Messenger order in as a sales order, stock is committed, the parcel goes to the courier, and the COD amount is tracked until the courier pays it out.
Online payment goes through SSLCommerz because that is where bKash, Nagad, Rocket and Upay customers already are. There is no direct bKash merchant API integration yet, so bKash payments sent to your merchant number are recorded manually as a payment method. Customers get order SMS in Bangla or English from a local gateway such as Grameenphone, Robi or SSL Wireless.
The storefront runs on Cloudflare's edge, so pages stay quick on mobile data outside Dhaka, and the ERP back office installs as a PWA on an Android phone. Because both are cloud-hosted, a power cut or internet outage at the shop does not stop customers placing orders; they are waiting in the website orders list when you are back online.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate e-commerce platform like Shopify or WooCommerce?
No. SORS ERP includes a headless storefront API and a Nuxt storefront that runs on Cloudflare Pages, so the website reads products, prices and stock straight from the ERP. If you already sell on WooCommerce, a sync module is on the roadmap but switched off today.
Can I take Facebook or WhatsApp orders in the same system?
Yes, but by hand. There is no Facebook or Messenger integration, so staff enter F-commerce orders as sales orders in the ERP. From there stock, courier booking, COD tracking and customer SMS work exactly as they do for website orders.
Which online payment methods work at checkout?
Cash on delivery and SSLCommerz. SSLCommerz carries bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, cards and internet banking in a single gateway. SORS ERP does not have a direct bKash merchant API integration yet, so bKash send-money payments are recorded manually against the order.
Does the website show the same stock as my shop?
Yes. The storefront reads live stock from the ERP, cart items are held against available quantity while a customer checks out, and billing deducts inventory. Serialised items, such as laptops and phones, are allocated by serial number at billing.
Can I run the website myself without a developer?
Day to day, yes. Homepage sections, banners, header, footer, category menu, policy pages, product pages and EMI display are managed from the ERP. Custom design changes to the Nuxt storefront are done by SORS Technology as a service.
Is there a mobile app for the online shop?
There is no native app. The storefront is a responsive website that works well on Android phones, and the ERP back office is a web app that installs as a PWA with an offline page. Customers get order updates by SMS rather than app notifications.
