SORS ERP

ERP software in Sylhet, built for how business runs here

What businesses in Sylhet trade in, which parts of an ERP matter most to them, and how implementation and support actually work outside our own office.

Sylhet's retail and hospitality trade is unusually strong for the size of the city, helped by remittance income and a steady flow of visitors. Restaurants, brand retail, electronics shops and clinics cluster tightly around Zindabazar and Ambarkhana.

The businesses that grow here tend to open a second and third branch quickly. That is the point at which counter takings, stock and staff attendance stop being manageable from one person's memory.

SORS Technology works with Sylhet businesses remotely from Dhaka, with onboarding and training over video call and on site visits by arrangement.

What Sylhet trades in

Long established local clusters, and the system problem each one has.

  • Zindabazar and Ambarkhana retail

Clothing, electronics and general retail with several branches under one owner, where per outlet reporting is the first thing asked for.

  • Restaurants and hospitality

Businesses on a truncated VAT rate with daily counter takings, staff rosters and stock that spoils.

  • Clinics, diagnostics and services

Service businesses invoicing on completion, with equipment on an asset register and payroll for professional staff.

What matters most in Sylhet

The modules these trades lean on, and why.

  • POS

Counter sessions, held bills and Z-reports so each branch balances its own drawer at the end of the day.

  • Accounting & Mushak VAT

Truncated and standard rates set per item, with Mushak 6.3 produced from the sale rather than typed separately.

  • Customers, CRM & Loyalty

Loyalty points and customer segments to hold repeat customers in a market that shops on relationship.

  • Reports & BI

Profit by outlet, so a second branch can be judged on its own numbers.

How implementation and support work

SORS Technology is based in Dhaka. We do not have an office in Sylhet, and we would rather say so than imply a local presence. Onboarding, data migration and training happen over video call, on site visits are arranged where a project needs them, and support is in Bangla, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00.

The software itself runs in a browser and is hosted on Cloudflare, or on your own server if you prefer, so where your business is does not change what it does. What location changes is how we meet you, and that is worth being straight about before you buy.

Questions

Answered plainly, including where the answer is no.

Can each branch see only its own sales?

Yes. Roles and permissions, outlet access control and counter check in decide who can see and do what, so a branch manager sees their outlet while the owner sees everything.

Does the POS work if the internet drops?

No. The POS has no offline billing mode, so a counter needs a working connection. If your location has frequent interruptions, plan a backup connection before going live, and tell us during the demo so we can be realistic with you.

Talk to us about your business, wherever it is

Tell us what you sell and how you sell it. We will show you the software and say plainly whether it fits.
