SORS ERP

ERP software in Narayanganj, built for how business runs here

What businesses in Narayanganj trade in, which parts of an ERP matter most to them, and how implementation and support actually work outside our own office.

Narayanganj has been a textile town for a very long time. Knitwear and hosiery units, yarn and fabric trading, and the wholesale markets around Tanbazar give the district a trade profile that is unusually concentrated.

Business here tends to run on credit and on relationships, with goods moving between a shop, a godown and a unit that may be in a different upazila. The system problem is keeping stock and outstanding balances truthful across those locations.

SORS Technology works with Narayanganj businesses remotely from Dhaka, which is close enough that on site sessions are straightforward to arrange.

What Narayanganj trades in

Long established local clusters, and the system problem each one has.

  • Tanbazar and the wholesale markets

Fabric and garment wholesale on credit terms, where the ageing report is the collection plan.

  • Knitwear and hosiery units

Small and mid sized units with a workforce to pay, materials to buy and finished goods moving to Dhaka buyers.

  • Yarn and accessories trading

Trading houses holding stock across godowns, where valuation method changes reported margin noticeably.

What matters most in Narayanganj

The modules these trades lean on, and why.

  • Inventory & Warehouses

Stock and valuation across several godowns, with transfers documented at both ends.

  • Accounting & Mushak VAT

Party ledgers and aged receivables for trade that runs on credit, with Mushak 6.3 and the 6.1 register produced from the same transactions.

  • HR & Payroll

Attendance and payroll for unit staff, with income tax slabs configurable per financial year.

  • Sales & Invoicing

Quotations, sales orders and delivery challans for buyers who order before they pay.

How implementation and support work

SORS Technology is based in Dhaka. We do not have an office in Narayanganj, and we would rather say so than imply a local presence. Onboarding, data migration and training happen over video call, on site visits are arranged where a project needs them, and support is in Bangla, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00.

The software itself runs in a browser and is hosted on Cloudflare, or on your own server if you prefer, so where your business is does not change what it does. What location changes is how we meet you, and that is worth being straight about before you buy.

Questions

Answered plainly, including where the answer is no.

Can stock be tracked across a shop and two godowns?

Yes. Warehouses are separate locations in SORS ERP with their own stock, and transfers between them are documented at both ends with valuation moving too, so neither end is left with an unexplained difference.

Is there support in Bangla?

Onboarding, training and support are in Bangla, and Bangla text works throughout as data, on receipts and invoices, and in SMS. The screens themselves are in English today; a Bangla interface is on the roadmap.
