The software is free and open source under GPL-3.0, so you can self-host without licence fees. You still pay for a server or Frappe Cloud (from USD 5 a month per site), for upgrades and backups if you self-host, and for a partner if you need Bangladesh VAT forms, payroll rules or integrations built. SORS ERP bundles these into a quoted subscription or on-premise deployment.

Does ERPNext support Mushak 6.3 and Bangladesh VAT?

Not out of the box. Frappe does not list a Bangladesh localisation, so Mushak 6.3 and the 6.1 and 6.2 registers are built as custom print formats and reports, usually by a local partner. SORS ERP generates the 6.3 from each sale and produces the 6.1 register and return summaries as standard.

ERPNext or SORS ERP for a startup in Dhaka?

If you have technical staff and want to own the code, ERPNext is a strong free option with a Dhaka partner available. If you want VAT, payments, SMS and couriers ready for Bangladesh and one vendor to call, SORS ERP is the shorter path. Manufacturing is available in ERPNext today and on the SORS ERP roadmap.
