Product names of other companies are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for comparison only.

This comparison comes up when a business has decided it wants a serious international platform and is choosing between the modular one and the established one. Both are delivered through partners in Bangladesh and both localise VAT through that partner rather than natively.

The practical difference is commercial. Odoo's modular pricing and Community edition make it possible to start smaller; SAP Business One is a mid market product with implementation costs to match. In both cases the partner you choose matters at least as much as the product.

SORS Technology makes SORS ERP and is neither of these vendors, so treat this as a summary of public information rather than an impartial review. Facts come from each vendor's own website; anything we could not verify is marked unknown, and SORS ERP is shown in a third column so you can see where we stand.

Questions

Answered plainly, including where the answer is no.

Which costs more to implement in Bangladesh?

SAP Business One is generally the larger commitment. Reviewers cite a wide range for Odoo implementations here depending on scope and partner, from a few lakh upwards, while SAP Business One is sold as a mid market implementation through partners.

Do either produce Mushak forms natively?

No. Both rely on partner localisation for Bangladesh VAT. Ask any partner to demonstrate a Mushak 6.3 coming out of the system before you sign, rather than accepting that it can be configured.

See how SORS ERP handles Mushak 6.3, POS, couriers and payroll, and we will tell you plainly where the other two are the better fit.
