What is Z-report?
A Z-report closes a counter session and summarises it: total sales, payments split by method, returns and the cash that should be in the drawer.

In Bangladesh
Where several staff share a counter across a long trading day, the Z-report is what settles the drawer before anyone goes home, and what makes a shortfall a conversation on the day rather than a discovery at month end.
An example
A Z-report shows BDT 84,000 in sales, of which BDT 31,000 cash, BDT 22,000 card and BDT 31,000 across mobile financial services. The drawer should hold BDT 31,000 plus the opening float, and that is checkable on the spot.
In SORS ERP

What is the difference between an X-report and a Z-report?
An X-report is a read of the session so far and leaves it open; a Z-report closes the session. The closing report is the one that settles the drawer at the end of a shift.
