Capital tied up in stock that has not moved in six months is the most common hidden problem in a shop that feels busy. The ageing report is what makes it arguable rather than a feeling.
An example
A shop with BDT 30 lakh in stock finds BDT 6 lakh of it has not moved in six months. That is a fifth of the working capital sitting on a shelf, and usually the most available cash in the business.

How old is too old?
